We are looking for a talented and passionate User Experience (UX) Researcher to work with cross-functional teams to design and execute research, understand the motivations of our players, gather insights that inform design, and grow our ability to utilize qualitative feedback for product decisions.

Example of responsibilities 

• Plan and conduct user research for Embark products using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including playtesting, usability evaluations, survey studies, and player interviews.

• Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform market strategy, core game design, feature prioritization, and the overall product roadmap.

• Embed into game projects and work alongside Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to continuously understand the user experience and to plan impactful user studies to improve the quality of the product.

• Be an advocate for the player in product conversations by identifying root causes behind player needs and behaviors, in order to deliver relevant recommendations for improving the product.

• Contribute to building best practices with designers, producers and other team members, continuously improving player-centric learning

We would love if you have

• A creative and curious mind with a passion for games and games user experience.

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in UX research or an equivalent role, preferably in the gaming industry.

• Experience running research projects from scratch to reporting and debriefing teams with findings that led to design decisions

• Analytical skills with the ability to take a variety of primary and secondary source materials such as telemetry analytics, survey results, user behavior to craft actionable and unbiased recommendations.

• Good comprehension of the benefits and limitations of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.

• A degree in Cognitive Science, Statistics, Human- Psychology, Computer Science, Computer Interaction, another or related field or equivalent working experience.

• Professional English communication skills.This is an on-site role.
